He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Tomlinson and Inez Tomlinson; and his wife Jeanette H. Tomlinson. He is survived by : his son L. F. Tomlinson, Jr. (Carol); his grandson Steve Tomlinson (Mallory); his great grandchild Lacey Tomlinson; and his sister-in-law Mary Elizabeth Hudgins.

As per Freddie's request, memorial contributions may be made to the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 1130, Mathews, VA 23109, or to Central United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 297, Mathews, VA 23109.
