She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Errett Hamm and Mary W. (Hamm); and her sister JoAnn Meadows of Baltimore. She is survived by: her husband George Shaw of Mathews; her sister Lois; her brother-in-law Gene Hussey of Carlsbad; her daughter Barbara; her son-in-law Wayne Buchanan of Haliford; her son David; her daughter-in-law Libbey Hale of Coeburn; her granddaughter Marlene Charles of Coeburn; and her great grandchild Marsha Viers of Abingdon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
