Raymond Patrick Blake Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Patrick Blake of Mathews, Virginia, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Brooke Blake and Pauline Citrano Blake; and his brothers, Brooke and David. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Anne Ripley; his children, Kelly Blake and Patrick; his siblings, John and Marianne Renninger; and his granddaughter Lucia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“My father (Walter) was Ray's father's brother. We, my mother Rhea, my brother Denny and myself spent many a holiday (and non-holidays) at their family home in Catonsville, Maryland. I had occasion to visit that house not too many years ago. The "new" family (10 children)vs only 5 little Blakes, knew this former family by reputation. My presence was warmly welcomed and I was invited in. The memories just flooded in! My heart was full. I am sorry for your loss. With love, Cousin Terry of Colo.”
