He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Heflin; his father-in-law Oscar Heflin; his father Daniel Strother; and his close friend Zoe. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Bucky Runion, Connie Runion and Beth Runion; his children, Chance Jenkins, RJ Daley, Shelby Baker, Zach Baker (Kim) and Sheron Painter (Ryan); his grandchildren, Hunter, Brylee and Amelia Painter; and his niece Shannon "Sissy" Henry. He is also survived by his family and dogs.
Danny was also a devoted supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and it is the family's hope that his memory will live on through memorial contributions to this cause.
