He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland C. Archer Sr. and Emma Reynolds Archer; and his siblings, Garland Cecil Archer Jr., Melvin Graham Archer, Richard Archer and Virginia Archer Mabe.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Lynn Lephew Archer; his daughter Melinda Archer Stuart (David); his granddaughter Emily Batchelor; his stepgrandchildren, Eddie Stuart and Michelle Cole; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Paisley and Pratt Parker; and his close friends, Donnie Stuart and David Scott. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews and many extended family and close friends.
