He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alexander and Nellie Frazier Alexander; and his brothers, Olen Alexander (Melda) and Rufus Alexander (Lou). He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Payne Alexander; his children, Wendy Alexander (Carrie), Eddie Alexander (Teresa), David Alexander (Susan) and Phillip Alexander; his grandchildren, Katrina Alexander-Henley (Travis), Derek Alexander (Francisco) and Jessica Sumner (Michael); his great grandchildren, Taj, Teague, Talon, Toren, Tru, Taya, Kaleb, Kylee and Cade; his great great grandchildren, Kashton and Kinslee; his brother Lloyd Alexander (Peggy); and his sister-in-law Lillian Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel (1035 N Main St, Hillsville, VA 24343). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
