With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy McGavock Davis of Max Meadows, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Kent McGavock and Virginia Crockett McGavock of Lynchburg; and her husband Joseph E. Davis, Jr. of Max Meadows. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph E. Davis, III and David M. Davis of Max Meadows; her grandson Billy (Amy); her great grandchildren, Jonathan and Dominic; her brother Hugh K. S. McGavock; her daughter Sharon of Troutville; and her cousins, Julie and Janet.
