She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank A. Thomas and Ethel Martin Thomas. She is survived by : her children, Ethel Irene (Larry Harrah), Helen Loretta (Terry Montgomery), Douglas Randolph (Pat Lindamood), Gary Wayne (Rhonda Lindamood) and Brooks Robert (Donna Lindamood). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Fort Chiswell Methodist Church (771 Fort Chiswell Rd, Max Meadows, VA 24360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
