He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Clevinger and June Kathleen Shortridge Clevinger; his brother Donald Clevinger; and his brothers-in-law, Everett Delaney, David Ratliff and Eric Corby.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Gail Taylor Clevinger of Maxie, VA; his children, John David Clevinger of Maxie, VA and Rhonda Karen Clevinger Lunsford (Andrew Nelson Lunsford) of Las Vegas, NV; his granddaughters, Sarah Grace Lunsford of Fort Worth, TX and Emily Faith Lunsford of Raleigh, NC; and his sisters, Wanda Sue Delaney of Grundy, VA, Pat Ratliff of Maxie, VA and Vicki Corby of Sunrise, FL.. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and other family members.
