Charles Grant Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Grant of McDowell, Virginia, born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Roy and Janet Ruth Grant (Lockridge); his wife Shelby Jean (Hevener); his grandson Jeffrey Wayne Grant; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Lucy Hevener; and his siblings-in-law, Edwin Hevener, Amos Rexrode, Mary Grant and Shirley Rexrode.
He is survived by : his brother Roy Lee Grant; his son Keith Alan Grant of McDowell; his siblings, Janet Hevener (Donnie) of McDowell and Gene Grant (Shirley) of Swoope; his daughters-in-law, Susan Grant of McDowell and Kari Grant of Raleigh, N. C.; his grandchildren, Shawn Grant (Anna), T. J. Grant (Katelyn), Amanda Grant, Erica Shank (Aaron), Korrin Burns (Derek) and Megan Grant; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Kyle, Chloe Shank, Lexi, Joshua Grant, Wyatt Grant, Kylie and Alayna Burns. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; as well as brothers and sisters.
