Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Hawley and Ruby Belle Mitchell (Dollars); and his brother Thomas Jerry Mitchell, Jr.. He is survived by: his spouse Camela Dawn Mitchell (Wagoner); his daughter Tina Hoover; his goddaughters, Cassandra Kile of Morgantown, WV, Kathleen (Kile) and Gudman (Robert) of Staunton, VA; his siblings, Candy Reiver (Gene) of California and Raymond "Curtis" Mitchell (Susan) of Jane Lew, WV; and his sister-in-law Betty Mitchell of Bridgewater, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home (826 Blue Gray Trail, Franklin, WV 26807). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
