It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Roger Rick of McGaheysville, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Whitehead and Winfield Lawrence Rick; his daughter Mary Ellen Rick; and his siblings, Margaret Flowers and Bud Rick.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Rick; and his children, David Jr., Bethanne, Douglas, Brad Hughes and Leslie Church. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
