With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Samuel Gittens of McGaheysville, Virginia, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on March 11, 2024 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his sister Mildred Gittens; and his grandparents, Wayne, Elma Price, David Gittens, Sr. and Arlene Gittens.
He is survived by : his parents, David Henry, Jr. and Judy Elma Price Gittens of McGaheysville; his daughters, Taylor Gittens, Skyler Gittens and Autumn Higgens; his siblings, David Gittens, III (Sara Hanafin), Christopher Gittens (Madison), Sherri VanAuken and Marcy Farris (Michael); and his close friends, Susie McKinley, Kim Gittens and Gwen Armentrout. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; two great-nieces.
