He was predeceased by : his mother Mary Elizabeth Campbell; his wife Margaret Campbell; his children, Sabrina Campbell and Shane Campbell; his siblings, Steve Campbell, Jenny Ann Mowbray and Etta Marie Bowles; and his grandson Dillon Campbell.

He is survived by : his children, Michelle Rogers (Evan) and Andrew Campbell; his siblings, Otha "Dino" Bowles, Jack Bowles, Donald Bowles, Peggy Turner and Claudette Bottenfield; and his grandchildren, Devon Campbell, Dakota Taylor, Chelsey Randall, Scott Randall II, A. J. Campbell, Brittany Morris and Jesse Morris.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Ryan Funeral Home PO Box 274 Ruckersville, VA 22968 to assist with the funeral arrangements.

“Ricky, you're my best friend. You're always there for me no matter what the reason, what time it is or where I am. You'll come get me and we'll have the longest talks. You won't take me home until you know I'm ok. We'll laugh so much and have so much fun exploring abandoned houses and stargazing. For the past 24 years we've sworn we'll always be there for each other. I don't know what to do without you now. I love you and miss you, Ricky, always and forever! Thoughts and prayers to the family.”
