Barbara White Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara White of McKenney, Virginia, who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George White and Rosa Morgan White; her siblings, Anna M. White, Lillie Mae Walker, Ruben W. White, Raymond C. White, John R. White, Jerome A. White and Tyrone White; and her siblings-in-law, Paulette White and George Walker, Jr..
She is survived by: her brother George White, Jr. of Silver Spring, MD; her sisters-in-law, Inez W. White of Dinwiddie, VA, Barbara L. White of Dinwiddie, VA, Mary Alice White of Dinwiddie, VA and Dorothea White of Henrico, VA.; her aunt Beatrice Powell of Richmond, VA; and her nephew Michael White (Annie). She is also survived by her other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel- Joseph M. Johnson & Son Funeral Home (530 S Sycamore St, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Olive Branch Baptist Church (11119 Boydton Plank Rd, Dinwiddie, VA 23841).
