He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Gholson Gee; his parents, Annie Gee and Andrew Gee; and his brothers, John, Nelson, Raymond and Wilbert Gee.
He is survived by: his children, William Ellis Gee of Petersburg, Timothy Gholson (Connie) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jacqueline Gholson of Dewitt, Janice Walker (James) of Sumpter, SC and Bonnie Gholson of Dewitt; and his siblings, Julia G. Gunter of Virginia Beach, VA, Sarah G. Branch of Ford and Andrew Gee of Ford, VA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
