We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Geraldine Harris Coleman of McKenney, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Arline Mozelle Harris of McKenney, Virginia.; her husband Frank Coleman; her father John Early Harris; her siblings, Earl Harris, Thomas Edward Harris and Lucy Mozelle Holloway; her siblings' children, Valerie Lynne Fields and Ricki Alphonso Foote; and her great grandchild Jasir Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard Coleman (Vanessa), Edward Coleman and Cheryl Diane Chambliss (Marc); her siblings, John Henry Harris, Shirley Lassiter and Marion Turner (Craige); her grandchildren, Shante Wood (Murray), Demetria Ward (Lacy), Marc Chambliss II, Monique Hall, Cierra Coleman, Jasmine Hall, Jessica Hall and Shay'rod Rawlings; and her nieces, Lauren and Kirsten. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
After the onset of Covid, she simply retired for good.
