Clanton Jr. of Petersburg, VA. and Glenda Clanton of Petersburg, VA.; his stepchildren, Christina Prosise, Angela Meade of Hopewell, VA, Laverne Clanton of Petersburg, VA and Larry Meade of Chesterfield, VA.; his siblings, Rosa Beasley of Carson, VA, Louise Armstrong of Richmond, VA and Thomas Clanton (Gladys) of Dinwiddie, VA.; his grandchildren, Stacy D. Clanton, Eric Collins Jr. (Margaret), Erica Waters (Robert), William Short III, Anialya Brown and K'Mari Jackson; his nephew James Raines Sr.; and his nieces, Gladys Perry and Annette Beasley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
