He was predeceased by: his brother Richard W. Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Phelps (Lin); his son Ed; his grandchildren, Isabel Phelps (Eric Patzke) and Ian Phelps; and his sisters, Sue Clendenning, Pamela Frausto and Kris Habben.
