He was predeceased by: his parents, Mohtaram and Abdulhossein. He is survived by: his children, Bahman Brian, Niloofar Clark and Atoosa Rateshtari; his niece Soheila Aghaey; his children-in-law, Mojgan Shahkarami and Thomas Clark; his grandchildren, Roxana Clark, Yasmin Shahkarami, John Clark, Sara Shahkarami, Terra Clark, Emma Clark, Niki Rateshtari and Kiana Rateshtari; Parisa and Parsa Mehdi.
