She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Frederika Bendewald Fischer and Christoph Fischer of Ashley, ND.. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Arends of Keswick, VA and Chris Arends (Bridget) of San Diego, CA; and her granddaughter Caroline Cruze of Alexandria, VA..
