With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester Allen Perdue of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Craft Perdue and Ella Jane Elledge; and his parents-in-law, Nina Atwell and Dillard Atwell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Perdue; his children, Chasity Perdue (Troy Turman) of Hillsville, VA, Cassie Perdue (Tabatha Stuart) of Hillsville, VA and Chet Perdue of Hillsville, VA; his grandson Chet; his siblings, Ricky Perdue (Cindy) of Princeton, WV, Wayne Perdue (Bernadette) of Princeton, WV, Carl Perdue (Ellen) of Princeton, WV, Kurt Perdue (Alisa) of Princeton, WV and Rena Perdue of Princeton, WV; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Perdue of Princeton, WV and Shelia Carter of Mount Airy, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church (203 Virginia St, Hillsville, VA 24343). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
