We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2025, at the age of 86, Gerald Wayne Stegall Sr. of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brown Stegall and Retha Bridgers Stegall; and his wife Eleanor Ann Philpott Stegall. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Stegall of Meadows and Elizabeth Ann; his niece Jerry Wayne; his sister Elaine Powell (Ray) of Sandy Level; and his sibling's children, Cindy Atwater of Chapel Hill, Lynn Mabry of Rougemont and Mike Philpott of Durham.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
