He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey A. Gary, Sr. and Countice Brandt; his cousins, Dr. Charlie Brandt, Billy Brandt and Buford Isbell; and his stepson John Heath.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his stepchildren, James Heath (Janet), Byron Heath and Robin Kahn (Will); his stepdaughter-in-law Carlene Heath; and his cousins, Lewis Brandt, Dr. Phillip Brandt and Frank England. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren.
