He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Beasley and Allene Carneal Beasley; and his brothers, Reggie and Charles Beasley. He is survived by: his wife Judy W. Beasley; his children, Lori B. Gentry (Tom) and Randy Beasley (Stephanie); his granddaughters, Jesse, Sidney, Rylee and Skylar; and his siblings, Richard Beasley (Vicki) and Vivian Underwood (Lanty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to East Hanover Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 454, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.
