He is survived by: his wife Ann Carter (Henderlite); his daughters, Angela Shafer (Bryant) of Myersville, MD, Alicia Bolden (Adam) of Ashburn, VA and Nikki Carter (Alex) of Mechanicsville, VA.; his grandchildren, Spencer, Kathryn, Isabella, Carter, Jacob, Alexandra and Avery; his sister Kathy (Carter); and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Newell III of South Shore, KY, Russell Henderlite (Eileen) of Jacksonville, FL and Larry Martin of Roanoke, VA.. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home (4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231).
