Elsie Ellington Sauer Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 24, 2026, Elsie Ellington Sauer of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elsie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elsie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester Sauer; and her son Mark Sauer. She is survived by: her children, Richard (Joan) of Warrenton, VA and Martha Sauer of Mechanicsville, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elsie's memory to the St. Paul Lutheran Church's Building Fund.
