He was predeceased by: his parents, John Provost and Helen Provost; his sisters, Jacqueline Provost and Joanne Katsionis; and his niece Danielle Esernio.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Provost; his daughter Caroline Provost; his sisters, Jean Mallow, Judy Dennis (James) and Helen Wissing (Jim); and his siblings' children, Brian Shedlick, Jacqueline Shedlick-Early, Jimmy Dennis, Justin Mallow, Steven Mallow, Salvatore Esernio, Phillip Esernio, Alex Katsionis, Cynthia Katsionis, Beth Wissing and Mason Wissing.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church (300 N Sheppard St, Richmond, VA 23221).
