Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marjorie Melchor of Mechanicsville, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 82, on July 18, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward F. Pool, Sr. and Mattie G. Pool; her sister Joan P. Joyner; her brother-in-law Powell Joyner; her son-in-law Chris Bundy; and her close friend Col. Billy Redmon.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Melchor (Courtney) of Mechanicsville and Amy Melchor Bundy of Chesapeake; her granddaughters, Claire Bundy, Morgan Melchor, Maren Melchor and Natalie Bundy; her brother Edward F. Pool, Jr. (Jean); her friend Nyoka White; and her pet Sammy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Monaghan Funeral Home (7300 Creighton Pkwy, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).
