She was predeceased by : her husband T. D. Stuart, Jr.. She is survived by : her sons, Bruce Childress (Debbie) and John Childress (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's Staples Mill Chapel (8510 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23228). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (4000 Pilots Ln, Richmond, VA 23222).
