Mildred Austin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, at the age of 96, Mildred Austin of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion McDaniel and Hazel McDaniel; and her brothers, Ralph, Kirby and James McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette Canady and Greer Harvey; her granddaughter Tiffany Talley (Mike); her great grandchildren, Anthony Talley (Leslee) and Chase Talley (Sydney); her great great grandchildren, Canaan and Mack Talley; and her sisters, Ruth Garbett and Doris Balderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Bethesda Baptist Church (9019 New Bethesda Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Hanover Memorial Park (4447 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to New Bethesda Baptist Church.
