He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Terry" Sims; his son Nicholas Sims (Kristie); his granddaughters, Penelope and Nora; his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Sims; and his sisters, Cathy Johnson and Elaine Boone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
