He was predeceased by: his father William Thomas Sims, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Teresa "Terry" Sims; his son Nicholas Sims (Kristie); his granddaughters, Penelope and Nora; his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Sims; and his sisters, Cathy Johnson and Elaine Boone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
