He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa Lynn Cooley; and his brother Royce Webster. He is survived by: his daughter Jo Ann Lipscomb (Kenwood); his granddaughters, Kendall Lipscomb, Rachel and Haley Cooley; and his sisters, Nannie Lou Goodwin and Julia Manyik. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
