She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Ritchie; her parents, Ernest Paul Simmons and Betty Sue Harris Simmons; and her siblings, Betty Lucille Hall, Bobby, Kenneth, Jerry and Curtis Simmons.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Ray "Donnie" Stell and Randy Gerald Simmons; her sister Esther Louise Ragland; her grandchildren, Deja, Deshaun, Chris, Jake and Miranda; her close friend Sheila Daniel Hicks; and her pet Cash.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Amelia Chapel (10300 Pridesville Rd, Amelia Court House, VA 23002).
