It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ashley Nelson of Meherrin, Virginia, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis H. Nelson and Mabel Newcomb Nelson; and his daughter Terri Ann Nelson. He is survived by : his significant other Patsy Teague Nelson; and his daughters, Sherry Nelson, Debra Nelson Shifflett (Chris) and Cheryl Nelson Ford (Sherman). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many friends and family.
