With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Thomas Smith of Melfa, Virginia, born in Nassawadox, Virginia, who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry Thomas Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Anita Johnson Smith; his parents, Garland Thomas Smith and Dorothy Bowen of Virginia; his stepfathers, George Preston Taylor and Cecil Henry Bowen; and his brother David Lee Smith.

He is survived by : his children, Glenda Smith McKay (Chris) of Rocky Mount, VA and Larry Wayne Smith (Christie) of Melfa; his sister Mona Lisa Turner (Wayne) of Belle Haven, VA; his grandchildren, Benjamin Green and Christina Vernon; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Smith Morris of Onancock, VA, Linda and Chester Jackson of Parksley, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
