With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Ernest Hayes in Mendota, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 22, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kimberly Webb Hayes (David Bilodeau). He is survived by: his girlfriend Jeanie Vermillion; his daughters, Autumn Hayes and Violet Conway; his adoptive father Dennis Hayes; his siblings, Gloria Mulokandov, Heather Hayes and Levi Hayes; his mother-in-law Esther Vermillion; his nephew Damien Mulokandov; and his close friends, Jason Rowe, Jennifer Canter, Jack Greer, Michael Price, Tracy and Kim Harless.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Mendota Food Pantry in memory of David and his love of helping others.
