She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth; her sons, Kurt of Middleburg, Virginia. and Karl Abendschein; her grandson Philip; her daughters-in-law, Tatiana Abendschein and Sheila Abendschein; her extended family Edelmira Carvajal; her son Jorge (Danielle); and her grandchildren, Benjamin and Bianca of Marshall, Virginia..
