She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold "Bud" Morency and Maralyn Morency. She is survived by: her children, Lila Kiswani (Kevin), Mariana Bryant and Paul Bryant (Emi); her grandchildren, Kory Cheney and David; her children, Ellie and Jude Kiswani; and her brother Michael Morency.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the organizations Deaf Kids Connect and Gallaudet English Language Institute.
