With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Doffermyre Corbett (Middletown, Virginia), born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2025 at the age of 90. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Margaret Ann had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Margaret Ann may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayland Doffermyre and Myrta Doffermyre; her brothers, Richard and James Doffermyre; her daughter Katherine Flood; and her granddaughter Erin Flood.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Craig (Amy) and Ken Craig (Barbara); and her stepchildren, Solvey McMillan (Mike), Richard Corbett (Veronica) and Joann Schloss (Jim). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Reliance Cemetery (1021 Reliance Rd, Middletown, VA 22645).
