With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Jane Downard of Middletown, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hubert Barb and Daisey Lorena Markley Barb; her husband Harry Allen Downard; her siblings, Richard E. Barb and Thelma M. Barb Arnaud; and her sister-in-law Helen Downard Hicks (Ruth Downard McNeil).
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Lorena Downard Wymer and Diane Marie Downard Wittreich; her grandchildren, Dennis, Jake Wymer, Robert, Allen, Rebecca Wittreich and Elizabeth W. Sakoulas; her great grandchildren, Cynthia, Evania Sakoulas and Morgon Wymer; her brother Charles D. Barb (Phyllis) of Edinburg, VA; and her sister-in-law Monica C. Downard of Silver Spring, MD.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
