She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Taylor White and Delbert E. White. She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Wassel; her son Seth J. Wassel (Yasmeen Ali) of Reisterstown, MD; her brother Thomas J. White of Alexandria, VA; and her stepmother Geri Ray White of Erwin, TN. She is also survived by the extended family members of her husband.
