He is survived by: his father John Wilson Smoot of Stephens City, VA; his children, Ash Morgan Smoot (Dylan Huffman) of Stephens City, VA and Joshua Michael Smoot (Ashley) of Middletown, VA; his grandchildren, Ava Nicole Smoot and Matthew Michael Smoot; his brother Brian Scott Smoot (Sabrina) of Clear Brook, VA; his uncle Frank Funk of Stephens City, VA; and his former wife Christina Miller (Conner).
