It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Edward Grimsley of Midland, Virginia, born in Manassas, Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though David Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Grimsley and Betty Grimsley; and his brother William Grimsley (WC). He is survived by: his wife Amelia; his siblings, Ernest Grimsley Jr. (Candy), Linda Rice (Dave), Peggy Ridley (Don) and Debra Ward (Steve); and his nephews, Chris Rice (Rebecca), Sammy Rice (Jennifer), Buddy Grimsley (Kaitlin) and Brandon Ward (Sara). He is also survived by his 6 great nephews, his 10 great nieces, his 2 great great nephews, and his 2 great great nieces.
