He is survived by: his wife Rosie Gloria; his son Melvin Washington (Vernice); his brother James M. Brown Sr. (Rose); his sister-in-law Naomi Griggs; his cousins, Samuel Morgan Jr., Gilbert Morgan (Evelyn) and Joyce Quarles; and his nieces and nephews, James Morgan Brown Jr., Kevin Brown (Vickie), Samuel Morgan III, Linda Brown-Burton (Lance), Zina Brown, Rev. Brenda Morgan-Sledge, Sandra Morgan-Cousins and Marie Morgan-Edwards. He is also survived by family members, and dear friends.
