Barbara Joan Comes Fairholm Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Joan Comes Fairholm of Midlothian, Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert W. Fairholm; and her parents, Dora Appelman and Bryan Helene Comes. She is survived by: her children, Ann Barber, Paul Fairholm (Corey), Dan Fairholm (Laurie), Scott Fairholm (Marcy) and Matt Fairholm (Shannon). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
