She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Butler and Beatrice Butler; and her son Larry Whitely. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Barrett (Stan) of Woodruff, SC and Cherryl Whitely of Chesterfield; her grandchildren, Elisabeth Barrett (Nick), Erin Surber (Richard) and Emilyn Garrigan (Paul); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Elliott, Forrest and Fletcher; her siblings, Helen Pack, Jackie Coleman, Robert Butler, Roger Mitchem and Ron Mitchem; and her caregivers, Ronke, Diamond, Quesha and Jackie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Women's Missionary Fellowship of Clover Hill Baptist Church.
