He was predeceased by: his parents, Wellington Prenett Woolfolk and Annie Bryant Woolfolk; his grandparents, Mack Henry, Annie Belle Bryant, Eva Belle Bryant, Irving and Susie Wingfield Woolfolk; his brothers, Wayne and Wellington; his aunts and uncles, Ervin, Willie, Donald, Joseph, Clara, Lottie, Marion, Ruth, Rachel, Rosetta and Willene; and his sister-in-law Fannie Brooks Woolfolk.
He is survived by: his son Sherod Burruss; his siblings, Joyce Spencer (James), Tina Jones, Laverne Childs (Vincent) and David Woolfolk; his grandchildren, Devonte Burruss and Destiny Smoot; his niece Latarsha Woolfolk; his nephew James Spencer II; his great-niece Kymiah; his uncles, Earl Chester and Shelby Bryant (Debbie); and his cousin Vernon Lewis. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
