With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Pierce Singleton Hailey of Midlothian, Virginia, born in Halifax, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Samuel Singleton; her parents, William I. Pierce and Lillie Brooks Pierce; her siblings, Virginia Seamster, Mary Rudder, Betty Rudder, Dorothy Martin and Clyde W. Pierce; and her stepdaughter Janet H. Green.
She is survived by: her son Robert Edward Singleton (Jamie); her grandchildren, Rhonda S. Oberle (Jeff) of Midlothian, Kayla Waring (Karrh), Aidan Oberle, Christian, Benjamin, James, Joshua and Lily Jane Singleton; her stepson Richard S. Hailey (Patty) of Maryland; and her sister Barbara Fears. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
