She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Basil Welch and Marie Regina Vandewater; her former husband James Vincent Malloy; her sons, Christopher and Peter Malloy; and her siblings, Michael Vandewater Welch and Sheila Marie Welch Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Malloy of Brooklyn, NY, James Malloy (Andrea) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Marianne Scott of Midlothian, VA and Thomas Malloy (Rosemarie) of Staten Island, NY.; her grandchildren, Jessica Scott, Matthew Scott, Alison Malloy Hawkins (Colby), Ryan Malloy, Kaitlin Malloy, Jenna Malloy, Thomas Malloy and Alyssa Malloy; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Clare and Colin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
